Surprise, y’all! The Country Cousins leave the sticks and take the big city by storm. Their unexpected little visit throws a big ol’ knot in the City Cousins’ networking plans for their Easter service: Pete hopes for a romance with Cassandra, Mimi is dressed to impress the church’s resident fashionista and Oswald wants to land a contract. They go to great lengths to keep their Country Cousins at home fixing Easter lunch, but – surprise again – they show up anyway! When they interrupt the elegantly formal service at the First Church of Stained Glass, even the pastor is distressed. Then he receives some astonishing news that changes everything. There’s a laugh a minute, but by gum, there’s timeless truth about the role of the church in our fast-paced and often self-centered world. Hillbillies to the rescue!
